A gentle visit, in familiar surroundings
Knowing what to expect can make a difficult day feel a little less uncertain. We’re here to explain the process, answer your questions, and help you plan a goodbye at home.
Appointment requests require confirmation from our team. For assistance sooner, please call or text.
Before your visit
Talk with our team
Share your pet’s needs, your location, and your preferred appointment times. We’ll confirm availability and explain the visit fee, any travel fee, and your selected aftercare costs.

Choose a familiar, comfortable space
Think about where your pet likes to rest. A favorite blanket or bed can help make the space feel familiar. Let our team know about stairs, parking, gate access, or any help your pet may need moving around.
If you have questions about food, medications, or preparing the space, please ask our team before the appointment.
Decide who you’d like nearby
Family members, children, and other pets can be present. Talk with your veterinarian about what feels right for your family and any concerns you have.
During your visit
- We’ll explain each step. Your veterinarian will talk with you about the process and answer your questions before beginning.
- Gentle care before euthanasia. Your pet receives anesthetic sedation before euthanasia. An IV catheter is placed whenever possible.
- Time together at home. Let your veterinarian know how you’d like to be involved and if you need a moment or have questions along the way.
Aftercare and remembering your pet
We partner with Peaceful Waters for individual (private) and communal aquamation. With private aquamation, your pet’s remains are returned to you. Keepsakes and home delivery are also available.
Our team will help coordinate your selected aftercare and notify your pet’s referring veterinarian. Aftercare, selected keepsakes, delivery, and applicable sales tax are additional costs, as detailed on our pricing page.

Support for your family matters, too. Our pet-loss and grief resources offer a place to begin.
If you’re still unsure whether it’s time
Our quality-of-life assessment can help you organize observations to discuss with your veterinarian. You can also contact our team with questions about our services.
If your pet has already passed away
We offer deceased pet pickup and transport to the aftercare facility, subject to availability. Pickup and aquamation fees are separate from an in-home euthanasia visit. Please call to confirm availability and costs for your location.
We’re here to help you prepare
You don’t need to have every question answered before reaching out. Call or text our team, seven days a week, 8am to 6pm.
